So with this post come 2 confessions for you readers.
1) I LOVE creating recipes but never write them down which means, no Wellness From Within cookbook coming anytime soon.
2) I LOVE chocolate. By love I mean, hardcore infatuation. In fact, I can turn down most desserts unless, they are chocolate.
This post is going to give you the best of my confessions. A new recipe to try, which just so happens to be filled with chocolate! And just in time for Valentine's Day. But the best part of this recipe is that it isn't loaded with the worst part of sweet treats, sugar. In the last few years I have tried to decrease my consumption of processed sugars, focusing more on natural sweeteners. Amazingly, once you allow your body to do that, you realize that it really doesn't need desserts loaded with the white stuff. After time, the treats you once devoured now taste overly sweet and you find that you have completely redesigned your taste buds. My hope is that these 2 recipes will help you do just this!
I'm calling these bliss bites because well, they will leave you blissed out. But, they are also packed with some nutrient rich ingredients. All you need is a food processor and your hands. Let's dig in!
Chocolate Nutty Bliss Bites

1 splash of flax or chia seed oil
Coconut flakes for rolling (optional)
Blend all ingredients then roll into small sized balls, similar to truffles. Keep chilled.
